About me

Lorena Borbinceane

I am a pluralistic counsellor, accredited and registered with The National Counselling Society, with a background in anxiety, depression, trauma and grief working with adults and young people. I have been practicing counselling both in private practice and within various organizations such as Sarah Agnes Foundation, Eden Park, Lakelands Hospice, Better Help which gives me a broad experience in a varied spectrum of issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, grief, and more.  

I strongly believe and work with the person centred approach as my core work as I am confident that you my dear client are able to find the path to heal in a supportive, empathic and non-judgemental space, with the belief that each of my clients are unique and their struggles are individual.


I have an Enhanced DBS check which means I can work with vulnerable adults and young people and I maintain professional indemnity insurance.

My promise

I am passionate to work for the best interest of my clients and I feel excited to be supporting many people change things in their life for the better.

I offer a safe and non-judgemental space to support you to move towards awareness, understanding and access of your deepest emotions. I understand that approaching therapy can be at times a hard decision, for various reasons, but together we can find a path for you my client to make your journey possible. I will provide you with the tools necessary to work through life challenges and come out a better version of you. I will work along side your needs, at your pace and from you perspective, but also reminding you of your initial goal and hopefully keep you accountable to your healing process, all this with kindness and care at heart.

As counselling is a commitment and investment into your well being and mental health, it is important for you to do the work and attend regularly!

We will always work in a confidential and supportive setting, and I will work to the best of my abilities to offer flexibility when it comes to the session scheduling.


My goal

My aim is to support you in your journey towards mindfulness and self awareness, to work towards resilience and find the best solution for a self compassioned life.

I will be regularly gaining new knowledge to support you and be by your side, to the best of my abilities and I will commit to refer you further if any issues brought in the sessions are over my ability to support you with.

I believe that you have the path to your healing and with my support, empathy and a non-judgemental space you will discover your way to a better self. I am confident that each individual can grow, heal and find balance in their life.
